MEDICAL & DENTAL INSURANCE
All permanent full-time associates and their eligible dependents may participate in the American Orthodontics medical plan (includes vision benefits) and dental plan (includes orthodontic coverage). We offer both a high-deductible and traditional plan to choose from.
LIFE & DISABILITY INSURANCE
American Orthodontics offers basic term life insurance to all permanent full-time associates. In addition, associates may elect supplemental life insurance coverage for themselves, their spouse, or their dependent children.
Associates may also elect short and long term disability insurance which provides for partial income replacement in the event of a disability.
FLEXIBLE SPENDING ACCOUNTS (FSAs)
FSAs allow associates to set aside pre-tax dollars to pay for a variety of out-of pocket health and/or dependent care expenses not covered through your other benefit plans. By anticipating your health care and dependent care costs for the next year you can actually lower your taxable income. Full time and part time regular associates are eligible to participate.
401(k) & PROFIT SHARING PLAN
American Orthodontics provides associates the opportunity to save for their own retirement under the 401(k) plan and are eligible to start contributing immediately. There is also a company match and profit sharing component which associates are eligible for after one year of service.
VACATION
American Orthodontics believes associates should have opportunities to enjoy time away from work and help balance their lives. We also believe that paid vacations are earned by working and thus should bear a relationship to your length of continuous service with the Company.
HOLIDAYS
Full time or part time regular associates who are actively employed are eligible for holiday pay. American Orthodontics observes 11 paid holidays throughout the year.
SERVICE AWARDS
Service awards are distributed to recognize the years of service associates have contributed to help build and sustain the success of American Orthodontics. Service awards are presented at an annual banquet to those associates who have completed five years of service and at each subsequent five-year milestone.
TUITION
American Orthodontics will reimburse certain costs related to courses or course materials up to an annual maximum.
EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (EAP)
All associates and their dependents are eligible to participate in the Employee Assistance Program. The program provides completely confidential assessments, counseling, and referrals for associates and their families who may need assistance in a variety of areas including, but not limited to; legal, professional, or financial counseling, divorce, dependent and elder care, adoption, behavioral health benefits, stress management, etc.
WELLNESS PROGRAMS
American Orthodontics offers all associates the option to participate in various wellness challenges throughout the year including reimbursement of membership fees to various fitness centers.
BIRTHDAYS
For your birthday dinner is on us! Associates will receive a gift certificate to an area restaurant. There are six restaurants to choose from so you are sure to find something you like.
