Dr. Alexandre Moro graduated from Federal University of Paraná and attended Methodist University Master program in São Paulo for his Orthodontic education. In 1995 he was accepted as a part time professor at the department of Anatomy at Federal University of Paraná and a year later he was invited to teach orthodontics at UFPR for the undergraduate and graduate students. In 1996 he started his private practice limited to Orthodontics in Curitiba and has become one of the leading speakers about fixed functional appliances in Brazil while writing many articles and lecturing internationally on the topic.

Dr. Carlo Marassi is the vice-director of the Society of Orthodontics of Rio de Janeiro, Scientific director of the Straight-Wire Group of Rio de Janeiro and former scientific Director of the Brazilian Society of Orthodontics. He is  CEO of Marassi Training Institute and Editor Emeritus of the Dental Press Clinical Journal of Orthodontics.

Dr. Abbas Zaher obtained his BDS and MS degrees in Orthodontics from University of Alexandria and a PhD in Orthodontics from the University of Alexandria, Egypt and University of Iowa, U.S.A.

Currently, Dr. Abbas Zaher is professor at the Department of Orthodontics, Faculty of Dentistry at Alexandria University.

Dr. Blair Feldman is an orthodontic specialist practicing in Arizona and is an Adjunct Professor of Orthodontics at A.T. Still University in Mesa, Arizona. He is a proud member of the American Association of Orthodontics, the American Dental Association and the Arizona Dental Association. Feldman completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Arts, after which he received his DMD from the University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Briscoe graduated from Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas and completed dental school as well as a two-year Orthodontic and Dentofacial Orthopedics Residency at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry. As an upstanding member of the dental community, Dr. Briscoe is a board-certified Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and the recipient of several prestigious awards, including membership in the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society, Quintessence Award for Research Achievement, Pierre Fauchard Academy Senior Student Award, and the American Association of Oral Biologists Oral Biology Award.

Dr. Briscoe stays up-to-date in the field through active memberships in the American Association of Orthodontists and American Dental Association.

After graduating from the University of Buenos Aires School of Dentistry, Dr Laura Irurzun pursued a specialization in Orthodontics, a discipline she has practiced exclusively ever since. She served as President of the Orthodontic Commission at the Argentine Dental Association and is currently Tenured Ordinary Professor and Chairwoman of Orthodintics II and Professor of the Postgraduate Specialization Course at the University of Salvador School of Dentistry.

Dr. Krishnaswamy is a professor and Head of the Department of Orthodontics and the Vice Principal of Ragas Dental College & Hospital, Chennai, India. After graduating from the Madras Dental College, he obtained his Masters in Orthodontics from College of Dental Surgery, Manipal. He is a fellow of the Royal college of Surgeons of Edinburgh and a Diplomate of the Indian Board of Orthodontics and The National Board of Medical Sciences.

Dr.Krishnaswamy was the recipient of the International Scientific exchange fund of the Japan Dental Association which led to clinical training at Tsurumi University, Yokohama, Japan. Dr. Krishnaswamy has served as the President of the Indian Orthodontic Society and the Chairman of the Indian Board of Orthodontics.

Dr. Jones graduated Magna Cum Laude from Simpson University in Redding, California with Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies. He then completed his DDS at University of California, San Francisco, followed by his Masters of Science in Dentistry and Orthodontics Certificate at St. Louis University in St. Louis, Missouri. Dr. Jones has been heavily involved in the realm of scientific research, making innovative research presentations in the fields of laser dentistry, advanced imaging, and appliances. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics (ABO) and has served as a board member and President of the Washington State Society of Orthodontists. Dr. Jones runs a private practice in Monroe, Washington.

Dr. Manzo graduated cum laude in Dentistry (DDS) in 1997 and he completed his post-graduation in orthodontics (MSc) with honors at the University of Naples "Federico II". In 2007 he received a PhD in Oral Science at the Department of Orthodontics, University of Naples "Federico II". Dr. Manzo is a certified Italian Board of Orthodontics (IBO) and he is adjunct associate professor at the University of Naples "Federico II".

Dr. Lawrence Hier has been practicing orthodontics in South Florida for 25 years. He received his Bachelor of Science and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees at McGill University in Montreal, Canada. Dr. Hier continued his training in Orthodontics at the University of Illinois at Chicago, and earned his Master’s Degree in Oral Sciences while conducting computer animated imaging studies in facial aesthetics.

Over a decade ago, Dr. Hier founded TJA Health LLC, an FDA-regulated and OTC/Medical Device-certified company which operates three distinct manufacturing facilities and manufactures over 30 products, including Plaque HD® Plaque Identifying Toothpaste and PlaqueHD Remineralizing Mouthrinse which are exclusively distributed by American Orthodontics.

Dr. Hier has been published and featured in scientific journals as well as various media outlets.

Dr. Baron is a graduate of the School of Dentistry at UNITEC Mexico and earned Specialty in Orthodontics and Master of Science degrees in Dental Medicine from the University of Pittsburgh. While at Pitt, Dr. Baron served as an Assistant Professor of Orthodontics, Coordinator of the Orthodontic Undergraduate Program, Coordinator of the Cranio-Facial Abnormalities Program, and as an Orthodontist in the Cleft Palate Center.

Moving back to Mexico City, Dr. Baron served as a Clinical Professor and then coordinator of Research and Degree at UNITEC Mexico from 1991-1998. In 1998, Dr. Baron founded the Orthodontic Centers of America where he serves as Director, focusing on clinical aspects of self-ligating brackets as well teaching and coaching others to grow their practices. Dr. Baron has finished over 9,000 cases using self-ligating brackets exclusively since 2005.

Dr. Ed Lin is one of two partners at Orthodontic Specialists of Green Bay (OSGB), a private practice in Green Bay, Wisconsin. He is also one of two partners at Apple Creek Orthodontics of Appleton (ACOA). Dr. Lin received both his dental (DDS) and orthodontic (MS) degrees from Northwestern University Dental School. He chose at that point to join the staff of Campus Crusade for Christ, an interdenominational Christian ministry. He served with Campus Crusade for three years at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill.

Dr. James Noble completed his BSc and DDS degrees at the University of Toronto followed by a one-year hospital residency at Mount Sinai hospital in Toronto. He then ventured to Winnipeg, Manitoba to complete his specialty training and MSc in Orthodontics at the University of Manitoba which has been rated as the second-best orthodontic program in the world.

Dr. Noble’s primary focus is his private orthodontic practice and he is also a staff orthodontist at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital where he is involved in the treatment of patients with cleft lip and palate, craniofacial anomalies, disabilities and acquired and congenital anomalies. Dr. Noble also serves as the orthodontist for the Children’s Aid Society of Toronto.

He is an Adjunct Professor of Orthodontics at the University of Seton Hill in Greensburg, PA and is a visiting lecturer at the University of Manitoba department of orthodontics. He is a past-president of the Toronto Orthodontic Club and sits as a reviewer for eleven dental and orthodontic peer-reviewed journals and is a member of the Journal of the Canadian Dental Associations Expert Panel of Reviewers and Advisors.

Dr. Noble is also an Associate in Dentistry at the University of Toronto and has previously taught orthodontics at the University of Toronto and served as a graduate and undergraduate instructor at the University of Manitoba, and the Orthodontist for the Manitoba Centre for Craniofacial Differences.

For the past 19 years, Dr. Noble has been actively involved in scientific research and publication.   He has had the opportunity to present his research internationally and has authored or co-authored over 40 peer-reviewed publications in addition to two book chapters. He acts as a consultant to orthodontic manufacturers on the development and innovation of orthodontic products and lectures to orthodontists internationally on the use and biomechanics of orthodontic temporary skeletal anchorage devices.

Dr. Noble’s passions are people and orthodontics. Orthodontics provides him with the chance to develop a relationship and inspire his patients, and to practice the art and science that he loves. He is humbled and privileged to serve his patient’s and provide excellence in orthodontic care for them.

On a personal note, Dr. Noble lives in Don Mills and spends his free time with his beautiful wife Dr. Sandra Cassolato and their four children Jacob, Emma, Ella and Jayden. When not at the office, Dr. Noble can be found at the park with his kids, or enjoying their backyard pool.

Dr. Andy Hayes worked in conjunction with American Orthodontics to develop PowerScope, a Class II Corrector. Dr. Hayes received his B.S., D.D.S. and M.S.D. degrees from Indiana University. He treats all types of orthodontic cases with specific interests in Class II correction, impaction prevention and open eruption techniques, as well as pre-restorative and interdisciplinary orthodontic treatment. Dr. Hayes is a Clinical Instructor in the St. Louis University Department of Orthodontics and has presented lectures both nationally and internationally on Class II correction. He serves on the Editorial Advisory Board of Orthotown Magazine and maintains an active private practice limited to orthodontics in St. Louis, Missouri. In his spare time, Dr. Hayes enjoys golfing and spending time with his wife and four boys.

Dr. Christensen graduated from UNLV in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomechanical Kinesiology. During his time in undergraduate study, he also took a two year hiatus from his studies to serve a service mission in the Dominican Republic. He attended dental school at Creighton University and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2000. While at Creighton he received numerous academic awards and distinctions, including memberships into the prestigious Alpha Omega International Dental Fraternity and Omricon Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society, as well as membership into Alpha Sigma Nu, the National Jesuit Honor Society. He received his MS degree and certificate in Orthodontics from Baylor College of Dentistry in 2002.

The name behind The Aarhus System™ is one of the most recognized in orthodontics today. Professor Birte Melsen has held the title of Professor and Chairman of the Department of Orthodontics at the Royal College, Aarhus, Denmark since 1975 - a 35 year tenure.

Dr. Jean François Cuzin is an orthodontist practicing in Nancy, France. Dr. Cuzin studied orthodontics at Paris VII, and is the Director of the Master Degree Lingual Program at University of Brussels. He has successfully completed thousands of lingual cases.

Dr. Graça Guimarães graduated from Universidade de Uberabe - UNIUBE dental school, and earned her orthodontics specialization at APCD/UNESP. Dr. Guimarães has run a private practice in Sáo Paulo, Brazil since 1993. She serves as Professor of the Lingual Orthodontics Residence in Sao Paulo, and is co-author of the bookéLingual Orthodontics. She started to study Lingual Orthodontics in 2003 and was certified in the Harmony system in 2012. Dr. Yeong S. Sim has served as an AAO Speaker and the organizer of the AO Empower symposium in Korea. Dr. Sim earned his dental (DDS) at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry and his orthodontic (MSD) and doctorate (PhD) in Dental Science degrees from the Indiana University School of Dentistry. Dr. Sim is currently serving as a Clinical Professor at Sungkyunkwan University School of Medicine, adjunct professor at Kyunghee University School of Dentistry, and adjunct professor at Ajou University School of Dentistry. He is also the owner of Michigan Prime Orthodontic Center.

After excelling at renowned University of Michigan Dental School and finishing in the top 5% of his class, Dr. Larrabee attended the state-of-the-art Marquette University and received his Masters in Orthodontics. Dr. Larrabee loved Marquette’s program as it gave him exposure to the different approaches and technologies available in orthodontics. After completing his residency in 2003, Dr. Larrabee practiced in the city of Chicago for three years, working with the likes of Oprah Winfrey’s dentists, until he realized he needed more sunshine and made the move to Arizona. Dr. Larrabee has been practicing in the East Valley for over eight years now.

Dr. Casale is an Assistant Professor at the National University of Colombia. He Coordinates the Clinics of Self-ligating Brackets and Dento- Facial Anomalies for the Postgraduate Programs of Orthodontics and Maxillo Facial Surgery at the Faculty of Dentistry. Dr. Casale is a researcher at the Biomimetics and Biologic Reagents Laboratory of the Institute of Biotechnology of the National University of Colombia (IBUN) where he has a research line of investigation in Skeletal Anchorage for Orthodontics. It has his private practice in Bogota, Colombia, where it combines labial and lingual self-ligating brackets techniques. National and international lecturer on different topics of Orthodontics.

Dr. Dan Bills is an avid (yet barely competent) golfer, an amateur BBQ aficionado and a loving husband and father to his wife Emily and his daughter Caroline. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Lafayette College and his dental degree from Harvard University, both with Honors, after which he completed a three-year orthodontic residency at the University of Illinois. Dr. Bills is a Board Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and a Fellow of the American College of Dentists.

He maintains a state-of-the-art private practice, Innovative Orthodontics, with two locations in Southern New Jersey, just outside of Philadelphia. Dr. Bills has held several local and national positions in the American Dental Association and is a Past-President of the Southern Dental Society of New Jersey. Dr. Bills is a published author and is on the Editorial Board of Orthodontic Practice magazine. He is on the Orthodontic Faculty at the University of Pennsylvania and is on Staff in the Department of Dentistry at Virtua Hospital, and he has been honored as “Teacher of the Year” at both of these prestigious institutions. He lectures regularly, both stateside and abroad, and gives in-office courses, about a variety of clinical topics as well as how to better utilize technology in orthodontic and dental offices.

Having completed his post-graduation in the discipline of Orthodontics, Dr. Ashok Karad has maintained a successful private practice in Mumbai since 1992. He is also actively involved in clinical research, continuing education, publication and clinical photography. Dr. Karad has presented several award winning scientific and clinical papers at national and international conferences and conducted various lectures and hands-on courses for Orthodontists in India and abroad.

Dr. Jonathan Sandler has been a Consultant Orthodontist at Chesterfield Royal Hospital since 1993. He served as Postgraduate Course Director at Manchester University from 1995-2002.

He is has been a Membership in Orthodontics Examiner since 1997 for both the Royal College of Surgeons of England and Edinburgh. He was also an ISFE Examiner from 2001-2007. He is a full member of the Angle Society of Europe, and one of only three British orthodontists with European Board Certification in Orthodontics.

Dr. Sandler has authored or co-authored over 100 peer reviewed publications and has given over 100 invitation lectures nationally and internationally. He served as the Clinical editor for the Journal of Orthodontics from 2001 to 2008 and has been a contributing editor to the Journal of Clinical Orthodontics since 2005.

He was Chairman of the British Orthodontic Conference 2004-2006 and is Chairman of the next ‘World Orthodontic Conference’ which will be held in London in 2015.

Dr. Sandler’s main clinical interests are Twin Block therapy, Digital Photography, Finishing techniques in Orthodontics, Implants and Micro-screws in Orthodontics, Self-ligation techniques, and teaching Orthodontics at all levels. He has recently completed a PhD in anchorage supplementation with micro-screws.

Dr. Stephan Tisseront received his DDS degree at the University of Paris VII in 1993 and practiced general dentistry in Paris, France for two years. He received his Master of Science Degree in Orthodontics at Oregon Health Sciences University in 1998. Dr. Guido Sampermans graduated in 1980 as a general dentist from the University of Leuven, Belgium. In 1986 he started his private orthodontic office in Belgium and in 1997 in Heinsberg, Germany. From 2003 to 2010 he led an orthodontic office in Maastricht, the Netherlands. In 2010 he opened a brand new orthodontic office in Echt, the Netherlands. This office is considered a state of the art orthodontic office, including progressive concepts about service and efficiency using the latest digital developments.

Dr. Sampermans is an affiliate member of the Angle Society in Southern California (USA) and has taught orthodontic treatment philosophy and orthodontic practice management both inside and outside of Europe for 15 years. He also offers micro-seminars in his office on self-ligating brackets, indirect bonding, computer related 3D technology, and modern practice management. Since 2003, he has been a speaker at 30 orthodontic congresses. He has first-class knowledge and extensive experiences with pre-adjusted appliance systems (Andrews, Roth, MBT, Roncone). He has worked with active self-ligating bracket systems since 2003, finishing over 5000 cases with this system.

Dr. Matthew Ng completed his undergraduate (BSc) and dental education (DMD) at the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg, Canada. He went on to pursue his orthodontic education (MSD) at Saint Louis University in St. Louis, MO. Dr. Ng is a Board-Certified orthodontist in both the USA and Canada as a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists in Canada. Dr. Ng is an active member in the profession as a Past President of the British Columbia Dental Specialists Society and currently serving on the Board of Directors of the Texas Association of Orthodontists and Southwestern Society of Orthodontists. Dr. Ng maintains his private practice in Cypress, Katy, TX.

Dr. Brandon Comella is dually trained as a mechanical engineer and a doctor of dental surgery. He began his career as a dental lab technician for the U.S. Air Force, and later owned a dental laboratory before going on to obtain multiple degrees in dentistry and engineering. Dr. Comella’s unique blend of clinical experience and engineering allow him to logically frame and analyze every step of an orthodontic treatment process and implications to the entire orthodontic practice.

Dr. Comella obtained his D.D.S. degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 2001, and began his career in orthodontics immediately thereafter. He holds a Bachelor of Science and Masters of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology. He maintains a private practice in Rochester, NY.

Dr. Martin Baxmann is CEO and founder of Orthodentix, a group of three multi award winning clinics specialized in orthodontic treatment and MyOrthoLab which delivers specialized orthodontic laboratory service all over Europe.

He studied dentistry at the University of Göttingen (Germany), received his Doctorate Degree from the University of Bonn (Germany) with "summa cum laude" and completed his orthodontic postgraduate program at the King’s College in London (UK).
